What's Happening in the Neighborhood

Annual Letter from Greg Gilliam- President 2025-2027

The Rappahannock River Estates Civic Association Board wants to welcome in 2026 and invite residents to join in on the events planned throughout the upcoming year.

The Board would like to extend their condolences to all of those who lost loved ones and wish those who may be suffering a complete recovery.

I would like to welcome all of those who moved into our community in 2025 and 2026.  We need to welcome our new neighbors and introduce the community and all the amenities it has to offer to them. We will utilize the web site, bulletin board and email to keep everyone up to date on activities.

While we have made some progress, a few items need attention in 2026.

• Kids Playground refit

• Roads ( 4 loads already in 2026)

• Pavillion – Front floor, under roof

• Main pier board replacement (continuous)

• Survey

• New Tractor discussion

The Civic Association Annual dues of $200.00 play a big role in maintaining the safety and functionality of all common areas Road, Piers, Kids playground and Liability insurance protecting homeowners.  You should have received your payment coupon for your 2025 (if not paid) and current 2026 Maintenance fees.  Please fill out and submit with all your contact information including Email, phone and current address. This allows us to stay in touch and communicate activities of upcoming events in the neighborhood for the current year.

We invite everyone to the first meeting of the year on 04/25/2026 at 10:00am. We will approve an annual Budget for 2026, discuss upcoming projects and activities scheduled for 2026 along with highlighting all that we accomplished in 2025.

I look forward to 2026, and any assistance with the projects would be greatly appreciated. Please attend the monthly meetings, look at the website, and volunteer to help make our community great.  Whether you are a full-timer or weekender in this neighborhood, all of us form this community.  Let’s all come together and make this another year to remember.

Utilize our Website and Email for additional means of information and communication.
