The Ladies Auxiliary is raffling off gift baskets. We are hoping to sell tickets throughout the summer to offset the expenses we have for the bands and other summer activities. Tickets will be available after the RRECA meeting Sat 8/23 at 10am and during the dinner Saturday night at the Civic Center AND during the HOT DOG SALE on Sunday, 8/31. $10 a ticket or $50 for an arms length. We will draw winners on Sunday, August 31st at 9pm at the Pavilion.
In our first RRECA meeting of the year, it was proposed that we build a new playground for all of our little people. We will be doing fundraising throughout the summer to cover the cost of this. So when you win that 50/50, maybe consider giving it back to the kids of the community. Buy some tickets for the Gift Baskets and help us achieve this goal. If you have an ideas on how to raise the money or know of a group that would perhaps donate, please reach out to Tracy Jackson or Tracy Thompson. We are working on an estimated cost and will have a fundraising thermometer on the bulletin board.

If interested in running, the Nominating Committee consists of Allen Stephens, Roger Justice, and Kathy Glazebrook. The current Board is running again with the exception of the Corresponding Secretary, but anyone is welcome to run for any position. If interested contact anyone on the Nominating Committee so your name can be presented to the community for a vote during this meeting.
Our Ladies Auxiliary is headed up by Susan Strong. The majority of our fund raising this year will be for a new playground for the little people of the community. We have lots of events planned throughout the summer so be sure to look at the bulletin board, the website and Facebook. Volunteers are always welcome.
