We will be selling hot dogs at 12noon at the Pavilion on Friday, July 4th.$2 /hotdog. We will also have t-shirts and cups for sale. Remember all proceeds benefit the new Playground.
This year we will have sand art set up for the kids - this is a free activity for all of our kids, small and big. We will be set up on the Pavilion on July 4th at 2pm. Any donations received will go towards the Playground.
Our favorite pizza guy Nino will be back on the beach on Saturday, July 5th at 11am serving up lunch. Come get you some lunch or dinner. It will be too hot to cook at home.
Saturday, July 5th beginning at 1pm, we will have Henry from QSC Entertainment with his portable DJ Booth at the beach playing music all afternoon.
In our first RRECA meeting of the year, it was proposed that we build a new playground for all of our little people. We will be doing fundraising throughout the summer to cover the cost of this. So when you win that 50/50, maybe consider giving it back to the kids of the community. Buy some tickets for the Gift Baskets and help us achieve this goal. If you have an ideas on how to raise the money or know of a group that would perhaps donate, please reach out to Tracy Jackson or Tracy Thompson. We are working on an estimated cost and will have a fundraising thermometer on the bulletin board.
The Ladies Auxiliary will once again be raffling off gift baskets. We are hoping to sell tickets throughout the summer to offset the expenses we have for the bands and other summer activities. Please consider donating a basket for this cause. You can even get with a group of friends and see how creative you can be. Tickets will be available after the RRECA meeting Sat 6/28 at 10am and during the dinner Saturday night at the Civic Center. $10 a ticket or $50 for an arms length.
